Calendar of Events
Our monthly guild meetings are open to all who have an interest in learning, sharing or teaching calligraphy or any of its related arts. We start with a very short business meeting followed by a program. The monthly program topic is posted in the calendar below. A few days before each meeting, we post a supply list to bring for the month's program. If you don't have a particular item, we often have extras to share.
Where and When We Meet
Our meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the first Thursday after Labor Day in September, and the first Thursday of every month, October through June at the Community Center of the Capital Manor Retirement Community in West Salem.

Capital Calligraphers September meeting
Yuki Tanaka will teach us Mackintosh Letters part 2 - Art Nouveau Letters, focusing on spacing and variations. Supply list: B-5 nib (if you don't have one, B-4 or B-3 is good), pen holder, black or walnut ink, and ruler and pencil. Yuki will provide guidelines and a handout.
